Annual TEAAM Walk for Autism
The TEAAM Walk for Autism was developed in 2002 to celebrate April as National Autism Awareness Month. It is also designated as Mississippi’s Autism Awareness Month by the Governor. This event provides an annual public platform for advocacy, and to create an opportunity for families and friends from across Mississippi who are affected by autism to come together for a day of fun.
The day’s events include fun activities
for the kids, music, drawings for prizes and special guest.
Winners of the One Piece at a Time are recognized along with
other major supporter of TEAAM. All proceeds of event
go to fund the programs of TEAAM including Kamp Kaleidoscope,
training and New-Parent Resource Kits. If you are interested
in organizing a Walk Team for TEAAM contact the TEAAM office
for information.
